Smoked pork burrito from Casa del Pollo on Boones Ferry Road. Lake Oswego, OR.
They focus on Costa Rican preparations here and sweet mother this is good smoked pork. They also include the usual optional red sauce and this garlic oil that shouldn’t work but it works, man.

Chicken chipotle burrito from San Blas on Salamo Road. West Linn, OR.
Gotta stop getting these to go. Burritos get buried in mounds of sides.

Chile colorado burrito from Corona on Kruse Way. Lake Oswego, OR.
I had never tried chile verde before and it was alright, but this is not what I expected of its colorado cousin. The meat is way more tender and flavorful than the majority of asada. I’ll probably choose this any time I have the option.
It reminds me of one of my very old favorites from a place called Tito’s in Los Angeles. Those burritos are much simpler, but if you know the place you know that all-beef burrito is nuts.

Whoa whoa. I unknowingly passed by this place for six months. I’ve been missing out on a damn good burrito.

Burro a la crema from Celia’s on SW Boones Ferry Road. Tualatin, OR.
A welcome change of pace as I go through all these different restaurant (higher than $10) burritos. It’s chicken cooked in a sour cream sauce along with carrots and onions, accompanied by rice inside the tortilla, then topped with avocado and cheese before it’s briefly baked. Not something you’ll find in a taqueria.
