[VD: A 23-second video featuring Tim Russ, who played Tuvok on Voyager. He is in costume but not in character, and he is speaking to another man. He points to himself and says, “I’m the star of the show, I’m the one that’s important. I get all the good stuff, and they get nothing.” The other man interrupts: “Hold on.” Tim asks, “Yeah?” “I didn’t hear you too well. (Crosstalk: “Yeah, like I said.”) Who’s the star of the show?”
Tim Russ affirms, “I’m the star of the show.” The man repeats, “You’re the star of the show.” Russ confirms, “That’s right.” The other man asks, “And what about all the other regular actors? The wonderful talent and their talent, you know-” Russ replies, “They… They, they have to be here, you know, because I need somebody to play off of.”
The other man: “Oh.” Russ: “That’s what it’s all about.” Other man: “Do they know that?” Russ: “I, I think they should be aware of that.” The other man: “Well, they’re gonna now!” Russ bursts into hearty laughter. End VD]
