OK I’ve worked out how this will be done so I’ll explain it here.
We’re going segment by segment, so instead of chosing the best episode we’ll be picking the best segment. That way no one will have to make too difficult a choice.
The first segments will go against eachother as will the second and third
The polls will be in groups of three. So you’ll have three seasons of first TOH segments from which to pick.
We’re only doing seasons 2-21 as they’re likely the TOHs that have been watched by the majority. Also doing all 34 seasons would make this tournament last months.
In the end we will have one winner from segments 1, 2 and 3 and the winner of that final poll will be crowned best TOH segment
Jesus may have spent 3 days in hell, but did he ever spend twenty years in prison in mere hours?
Jesus may have had his closest follower betray him, but did he ever miss the birth of his first child because he was trying to save everyone’s lives, not knowing if his wife was even alive at the time?
Jesus may have died on the cross, but did he die THREE TIMES IN ONE EPISODE?
Jesus may have been whipped and tortured and crucified, but did he ever have to be stalked through a dead space station by a former spy who was pumped full of drugs to make him xenophobic towards humans?
At least they could agree on one thing: anticapitalism. Miles “He was more than a hero, he was a union man!” O’Brien and Jesus “YOU HAVE TURNED MY FATHER’S HOUSE INTO A DEN OF THIEVES” Christ could definitely sit down and enjoy some wine/scotch together over that one.
Anyway, I’m a pope: Jesus would vote for Chief O’Brien, and you should too.
