Day 9, #10.
Regular Carnitas Burrito from Chavo’s on Bryant Street. San Francisco, CA.
I made the mistake of opening the burrito to add more salsa. Rookie move. Burrito stability is always compromised in these scenarios.

Day 8, #9.
Regular Grilled Chicken Burrito from El Grullense on Middlefield Road. Redwood City, CA.
Just made it! This was at 11:50 PM. I think I’ll have burritos for lunch more often.
Day 7, #8.
Chorizo Breakfast Burrito from El Charrito on Holly Street. San Carlos, CA.
Hands down the best breakfast burrito. Chorizo that doesn’t drip grease, the simple addition of refried beans, and available all day. This one’s for dinner.
Day 6, #7.
Regular Grilled Chicken Burrito from El Grullense E & E on El Camino Real. Redwood City, CA.
There are at least a dozen places called “El Grullense” in Redwood City.
Day 5, #6.
Regular Grilled Chicken Burrito from Guadalajara Grill on Laurie Meadows Drive. San Mateo, CA.
The best grilled chicken breast around.
Day 4, #5.
Grilled Chicken Burrito from Chipotle on Edgewater Drive. Oakland, CA.
Rice, beans, meat, salsas. Bare essentials.
Day 4, #4.
Regular Pollo Asado Burrito from Dos Piñas on Rhode Island Street. San Francisco, CA.
No frills. They grill this chicken in a dark red sauce that reminds me of mole. Not spicy, but flavorful.
Day 3, #3.
Epic Cali Steak & Guac Burrito from Del Taco on Hegenberger Road. Oakland, CA.
Too much sour cream and cheese, and not a fan of the guacamole. Steak was good. Can’t wait to get back to a regular burrito at a taqueria.
Day 2, #2.
Epic Chipotle Carnitas Burrito from Del Taco on Hegenberger Road. Oakland, CA.
Some Star Trek Voyager on the side.
Day 1, #1.
XXL Grilled Stuft Shredded Chicken Burrito from Taco Bell on Hegenberger Road. Oakland, CA.
Not many places open on New Year’s day.
