I can walk in here and they immediately know my order. I have arrived.

Day 58, #69.
Grilled chicken burrito from El Grullense on Middlefield Road. Redwood City, CA.
I know it’s only been two months of daily burritos, but this remains at the top of my favorites. It’s just got great flavor, good moist/dry balance, and they grill the tortillas for extra crispness! Most places just steam the tortillas into bland submission.
Day 57, #68.
Grilled chicken burrito from Guadalajara Grill on Laurie Meadows Drive. San Mateo, CA.
Way behind on posts, but never behind on burritos.
Day 56, #67.
Chorizo burrito from Guadalajara Grill on Laurie Meadows Drive. San Mateo, CA.
Chorizo is a lot like al pastor. It can be too greasy, and that ruins a burrito right quick. This was a nice surprise. The construction was solid, the chorizo good and dry. Chorizo is still too salty to eat in a burrito every day, but it’s certainly more flavorful than my usual grilled chicken fare.

Day 55, #66.
Ham breakfast burrito from Latte Express on Bluxome Street. San Francisco, CA.
Do you remember your time as a child, when certain foods were limited to certain times of day?
Day 54, #65.
Chicken burrito from El Faro on El Camino Real. South San Francisco, CA.
A rarity in this world: the late night drive-through Mexican taqueria. This was stewed chicken, which I usually avoid, but their construction was solid.
Day 53, #64.
Ham breakfast burrito from Latte Express on Bluxome Street. San Francisco, CA.
Do you wonder if a particular fictional character has ever eaten a burrito? And which? That’s Tumblr blog gold.
Day 52, #63.
Regular grilled chicken burrito from The Iron Cactus on 4th Street. San Francisco, CA.
I’m developing an appreciation for these smaller burritos. It’s unfortunate that they’re also pricier, but you reckon each burrito has its time and place.
Day 51, #62.
Regular grilled chicken burrito from Taquerias El Farolito on Grand Avenue. South San Francisco, CA.
It was a strange sort of day. The sky threatened us with rain but held back. We bought sandwiches earlier in the day, and I thought, “Will burritos follow us into the next life?”
Day 50, #61.
Regular al pastor burrito from El Grullense on Middlefield Road. Redwood City, CA.
This one was a little better than the last al pastor experience. I’ll continue explore the meat possibilities.
