This is a super ultra long shot but I think a couple months ago I saw this text post in which the person said that to watch a horror movie is to know that something bad is going to happen, in much the same way that inhabiting a body means knowing that, sooner or later, something bad is going to happen. I totally regret not stuffing this into my drafts at the very least, so if anybody sees it, I’d love a heads up!
